One Linux, two big families
Most commands are identical everywhere. The differences are small, but they trip up almost every beginner. We show both, side by side.
Rocky / RHEL family
Used by big companies, banks, schools and governments. Software comes in .rpm packages that you install with dnf.
Ubuntu / Debian family
Popular in the cloud, with hobbyists, and on Raspberry Pi. Software comes in .deb packages that you install with apt.

To a hacker, “hacking” means taking things apart to see how they work, tinkering, and building cool stuff. That's the kind we teach. Rule #1: only ever touch computers you own or have permission to use. Breaking into other people's systems is illegal, and it's not what real hackers are proud of.
